Abdul Abdirahman graduated from La Trobe University in 2019 with a bachelor’s degree in Health Sciences majoring in Human Physiology and Anatomy, which fuelled his desire to complete his Masters of Physiotherapy Practice at La Trobe University in 2021.
Throughout his studies, Abdul gained a significant interest in knee and shoulder biomechanics and injuries and vertigo related conditions. During his time at university, he performed several research-based projects focusing on these specific areas. Abdul also has experience treating conditions of the elbow and hand, hip, headaches, TMJ pain, running related injuries and conditions of the spine including low back pain and neck pain. Abdul has completed his post graduate qualifications in dry needling and Pilates and provides a holistic physiotherapy treatment involving a combination of manual therapy and evidence-based exercise prescription to get his patients back to doing what they love, pain-free.

Amy Howden is an experienced music therapist of over 12 years. She has worked in various setting including in mainstream and special needs schools, facilitating parent-infant music sessions in the community, paediatric hospitals and aged care facilities.
Amy is currently completing her PhD in music therapy and her project is centred on exploring parent’s perspectives of engaging in music therapy and songwriting with their baby after a hospital admission.

My clinical experience ranges from acute stages to rehabilitation and ongoing health maintenance. I have worked in many of Melbournes major hospital networks and currently hold a part time position with Alfred Health.

Stuart Jeanfield is a Creative Art Therapist. He grew up immersed in a world of theatre, visual arts and music and believe they hold a powerful connection to our emotions and memories.
Stuart also worked across a number of different fields, including building and project management, festivals and events, front of house and the service industry to name but a few. He is a dad, a partner, and a volunteer at the local community garden. Stuart is a regular guy who’s worked through addiction, raised a neurodiverse kid and dealt with his own mental health issues.
Stuart believes his lived experience allows him to meet and connect with all people from a place of empathy and understanding. His style of art therapy explores emotional patterns and how people experience life. When we understand our emotional patterns we begin to understand ourselves more fully. And when we understand ourselves we can begin to heal and move forward with a greater sense of self.
Stuart has an emergent and explorative style and love introducing a wide variety of different artistic styles in his sessions as a way of finding the right fit for the individual. He comes from a multi-disciplinary background of music, visual art and performing art and tend to instinctively draw on any of these styles that best suit the sessions. Stuart looks to promote curiosity and enjoyment in the participant by offering an enjoyable place to interact, with a focus on process over outcome.
