Home healthcare podiatry treatment in focus Home · aged care · SIL properties

Mobile podiatry is an in-home service where a qualified podiatrist travels to your home, aged care facility or supported independent living (SIL) property to provide professional foot and lower limb care. Rather than sitting in a waiting room or organising transport, you receive a complete assessment and treatment in a familiar, stress-free environment.

Our Melbourne podiatrists bring sterile instruments, dressings, diagnostic tools and treatment equipment to every visit — so there's no compromise on safety, hygiene or clinical quality. Being seen at home also lets us assess how you actually move and function in your own space.

The focus is simple: keep people comfortable, mobile, and able to stay safely at home.

FAQ

Common questions

Do I need a referral?
No referral is needed for private or NDIS clients. For Medicare Chronic Condition Management Plan clients, you'll need a GP referral under an eligible care plan.
How long does an appointment take?
Initial consultations run for approximately 45 minutes, while follow-up visits typically last around 30 minutes, depending on your needs.
What do I need to prepare?
Just a comfortable, well-lit space where you can sit with your feet accessible — a chair and a little clear space is plenty. Our podiatrist brings everything else.
Can you treat diabetic feet at home?
Yes. Diabetic foot assessments, high-risk foot care, wound management and preventative reviews are a core part of our mobile service.
Do you visit aged care & SIL homes?
Yes. We provide scheduled podiatry rounds to aged care facilities, retirement villages, SIL residences and private homes across Melbourne.
Can I combine podiatry with other services?
Yes. With a full multidisciplinary team — physiotherapy, OT, exercise physiology, dietetics, massage and more — we can coordinate wrap-around mobile care in one trusted provider.
