Mateo Glavan completed his Doctor of Physiotherapy from The University of Melbourne and has previously completed a Bachelor of Biomedical Science at Monash University. During this time, Mateo completed a range of placements in both hospital and private practice settings across metro and regional areas in Victoria.

Upon completing his studies, Mateo worked in private practice and helped numerous athletes, as well as everyday individuals, to regain independence, pain-free movement and function. Mateo prides himself on implementing the most recent evidence-based physiotherapy techniques to manage a wide variety of musculoskeletal and neurological conditions. He has a keen interest in managing spine disorders associated with chronic and persistent pain, as well as treating pathologies involving the shoulder, hip, knee, and ankle joints.

Mateo also has experience in delivering post-orthopedic surgery rehabilitation, liaising with Orthopaedic Surgeons to achieve optimal outcomes. Ultimately, Mateo strongly believes that optimal rehabilitation outcomes are only achieved when treatment is guided by the values and goals expressed by the patient.

Outside of physiotherapy, Mateo enjoys spending his time outdoors; you will most likely find him walking or running along the beach. Mateo also enjoys weight training and playing tennis with friends.
